Insight Vacations readies for travel comeback as holiday planning resumes


Insight Vacations, one of the global leaders in premium guided holidays is seeking to rebuild travel dreams with Black Friday deals for its European Country Roads and Easy Pace itineraries. Following announcements of successes of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine trials, there has been a surge in enquiries for 2021 trips.

Well aware that when travel returns, it needs to come back better than it was before, Insight Vacations’ has refreshed many of its itineraries and readied itself for a comeback to a new world of travel with new Make Travel Matter (MTM) Experiences on 30 per cent of its journeys. The experiences are crafted to advance 11 of the United Nation’s Sustainable Global Goals so that guests can take an active role in making travel more sustainable while they enjoy immersive experiences.

A new trip for 2021, Country Roads of Andalucia features a Make Travel Matter Experience that introduces guests to Flamenco with a visit to Cristina Heeren Foundation in Southern Spain. As a school that promotes the teaching and conservation of flamenco, Cristina Heeren Foundation provides access to cultural education and through their training, continue to preserve the traditions of the flamenco dance that is such an essential part of Spain’s cultural heritage. The nine-day trip starts and concludes in Malaga. Interest in this Andalucia itinerary has been bolstered by the announcement from Andalucia’s regional government that from January 1, 2021, free holiday insurance will be offered to international tourists in Andalucia. The insurance covers any circumstances related to COVID-19 including medical bills, additional accommodation and costs for quarantine plus repatriation if needed.

New for 2021 as well, are trips to dream destinations in Latin America perfectly planned for a travel adventurer. From Patagonia landscapes, Andean peaks, rainforests, Incan ruins and vibrant metropolitan cities, three bucket list trips to consider: Peru with Machu Picchu and the Nazca lines, Best of Chile from the Atacama to Patagonia and Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil Discovery.

While the travel industry hit pause this year due to COVID-19, Insight has focused on enhancing the overall travel experience for guests with their well-being and peace of mind at the forefront of every trip. From crafting new experiences for 2021/2022 that are planned for smaller groups sizes to developing a comprehensive approach to well-being protocols and offering guests access to a Well-being Director, the aim is to offer guests the most seamless and magical travel experience. The Insight will operate new Small Group Departures with a maximum of 24 guests and Small Private Groups allowing guests to travel privately on any existing journey with as little as 12 guests.
