Accor Hotels adds serviced apartments in Myanmar

Micasa Hotel Apartments Yangon to re-brand Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye. Accor Hotels continues to demonstrate confidence in Myanmar’s booming tourism industry with the announcement of the management contract with strategic partner SC Capital Partners Group.
The management contract will see the seven-storey Micasa Hotel Apartments Yangon rebrand to Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye in Q3 of 2017. Located in close proximity to the famed Shwedagon Golden Pagoda, the new Mercure offers a choice of 143 apartments and 40 deluxe rooms. The serviced apartment is the perfect “home away from home” for long and short term stays.

“Mercure offers the welcoming experience of unique hotels locally inspired, rooted in authentic values and culture”, says Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer of Accor Hotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia. “We are delighted to continue our long-standing hospitality partnership with SC Capital Partners Group with the latest addition of Mercure Yangon Kaba to our growing network in Myanmar.” There are currently four other hotels including The Lake Garden Nay Pyi Taw, MGallery by Sofitel; Novotel Yangon Max; Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min; and Ibis Styles Yangon Stadium. Five additional properties are planned in the pipeline by 2019.

The 183 room Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye features spacious one, two and three-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchenettes, high ceilings and balconies that overlook the pool or garden, a fitness club, swimming pool, kids’ playhouse, and a business centre. Food beverage outlets include a ‘three-in-one’ concept dining, lounge and bar.

To celebrate the opening of Micasa Hotel Apartments Yangon, enjoy a Deluxe Room rate of USD 114 net from now until September 30, 2017.
