George

Nestling at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains, George is widely regarded as the hub of the Southern Cape Region. It is at the centre of nature’s ‘Garden Route’. Only five minutes from George, in the Garden Route you can experience the thrill of driving your own quad through beautiful scenery while having the adventure of a lifetime. While on a family vacation, Redberry Farm should be on the list as there is plenty to enjoy such as pony rides, bubble ball mini train ride and more. While wandering in the farm, one can pick strawberries, eat them or enjoy a special drink all day long. Mini train ride for both young and old winding its way through strawberry fields on 700m of track is a unique attraction for travellers of all ages.

Wilderness

A splendid and serene town, Wilderness is home to wide beaches and trails. This is a popular venue for waterskiing and attracts adventure enthusiasts from far and wide. Recreational activities that can be enjoyed here include hiking, mountain-biking, bird and whale-watching, hang-gliding and paragliding, horseriding, scenic drives, day tours, angling, boating and other water sports. Wilderness National Park, Map of Africa View Point and Kingfisher Trail are among the key attractions of Wilderness. Situated in the heart of the Garden Route, Wilderness National Park is a fascinating mix of rivers, lakes, estuaries and beaches having a striking backdrop of lush forests and imposing mountains. It is best to plan the visit during spring as the area is blanketed by a kaleidoscope of vibrant blossoms that further enhance its beauty. There are also several historic sites of archaeological significance in the vicinity.

Knysna

Knysna is a quaint town amidst the indigenous forests and expansive lagoon views. Voyage across the lagoon on a ferry, inflatable boat, yacht or kayak. The town is widely acclaimed for its sheer variety ranging from Buffels Bay to Simola Golf and Country Estate. It is one of those rare locations that provide a blend of both relaxation and adventure.
