Princess Cruises, an American cruise line owned by Carnival Corporation and PLC, is expanding its Alaska Parks Cruisetours for the 2025-2026 season, introducing new itineraries and increased capacity at its wilderness lodges to meet growing demand.

In a press statement, Princess Cruises says that the expanded offerings will allow travellers to explore more of Alaska’s national parks and scenic landscapes through land-and-sea packages that combine cruises with guided inland tours.

The cruise line says that among the new additions is a 15-night national parks tour, which includes visits to five US national parks, such as Denali, Wrangell-St. Elias, and Kenai Fjords, along with time in Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Whittier.

The itinerary combines a seven-day Voyage of the Glaciers cruise with an eight-day land tour, allowing travellers to experience Alaska’s diverse landscapes, wildlife, and cultural sites.

Princess Cruises says it is also expanding its Denali lodging options, enhancing guest capacity at McKinley Chalet Resort, and improving services at its exclusive wilderness lodges.

These lodges provide direct access to Denali National Park, offering visitors immersive experiences in Alaska’s rugged wilderness.

The cruise line is increasing availability for its Connoisseur Cruisetours, which include expert-led excursions, premium dining experiences, and extended stays at Princess lodges.

These options cater to travellers seeking a more in-depth exploration of Alaska’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

The 2025-2026 Alaska season will feature a range of cruisetour options, departing from Seattle, Vancouver and Anchorage, with sailings aboard six Princess ships, including the Royal Princess, Sapphire Princess and Grand Princess.

The expanded programme underscores Princess Cruises’ commitment to enhancing its Alaska offerings, providing more choices for travellers seeking a combination of land and sea adventures.
