As millions of devotees gather for Mahakumbh 2025, India Assist, in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Government, has reached a significant milestone by successfully aiding over 50,000 pilgrims and travellers. This achievement underscores India Assist’s vital role in providing seamless navigation, real-time guidance, and emergency support at one of the world’s largest religious gatherings.
Mahakumbh, a spiritual and cultural spectacle, draws millions from across India and beyond. Amidst the vast crowds and dynamic atmosphere, navigating the event, finding assistance, or handling unforeseen challenges can be daunting. To address these concerns, India Assist has set up Tourist Information Centres (TICs) at key locations such as railway stations, the airport, and within the Kumbh Mela grounds. Operating round-the-clock, these tech-enabled hubs assist visitors with navigation, medical emergencies, lost belongings, language barriers, and provide real-time updates on crowd movement and accessibility.
Beyond logistical support, India Assist has played a crucial role in reuniting families and resolving travel issues. More than 17 lost families have been successfully reunited, while countless travellers have received immediate assistance in distressing situations. In one instance, a pilgrim struggling to locate his pre-booked cab and tent accommodation was guided to his destination, with alternative transport arranged as needed. In another case, a visitor who fell victim to fraud was swiftly directed to the nearest police station, ensuring a quick resolution.

We thank the Uttar Pradesh Government for their partnership and look forward to continuing our mission of making travel stress-free across India, ” he said.
