Beyond the food, the festival offers a wealth of entertainment. As you stroll through the city, you’ll be transported to ancient Russia through stage performances at various festival venues. There will also be masterclasses for all ages on cooking, traditional crafts, and the arts. Visitors will have the chance to learn how to make classic Russian pancakes, try their hand at pottery, or create plate paintings in a decorative painting workshop. There’s a masterclass for everyone!

One of the festival’s highlights will be at the Moskino Film Park in Yurovo. Here, guests can explore Russian culture through the theme of toys, including famous clay, wooden, and straw toys. Visitors can not only enjoy pancakes from different Russian regions but also participate in a creative experience. A special feature will be life-sized “rostovye” pancakes, adorned with intricate folk patterns, where guests can join in the artistic process.

The Moscow Maslenitsa festival is sure to leave visitors with lasting memories, offering a rich program of creativity and gastronomy. It is part of the Moscow Seasons project, which features captivating seasonal festivals ideal for families and solo travelers, promising an unforgettable experience for visitors from India.
