Walt Disney World Resort, an American entertainment resort complex, is set to mark its 30th anniversary this spring festive celebration as Blizzard Beach Water Park.
In a press statement, the resort says that families visiting the park can look forward to an array of limited-time experiences and special entertainment, including snow-storm theming and other attractions amid warm soothing waters.
The statement adds that attractions include a DJ on the deck near the Polar Pub, interactions with Mickey and Minnie decked out in their winter attire and even snowman bowling and character-themed tubes for floating down Cross Country Creek.
It says that the party will continue throughout April with dance parties, special anniversary food and beverage items and family-friendly games with cool prizes such as snowflake tattoos, wintery-themed rubber ducks and snowy bubbles.
The resort says that Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be reopened on May 1 with attractions such as the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, which is the largest wave pool in North America, Miss Adventure Falls, the high-octane family raft attraction, Crush n’ Gusher, the thrilling “water coaster” that features three 400-foot-long tube slides, Castaway Creek, the scenic lazy river that encircles the entire water park, and much more.
