Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts, which boasts a portfolio of 17 properties across Sri Lanka and the Maldives, including Sri Lanka’s first integrated resort, Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, has announced the appointment of Gaurav Arora as the Director of Global Sales for India, effective March 3, 2025. With over 20 years of experience in international hospitality sales, Gaurav has successfully driven outbound business for prestigious global hotel brands, including Shangri-La, Hilton, and Marriott International.
In his previous role, Gaurav led Enhance Hospitality, a luxury hotel representation firm, where he effectively managed top international brands in the Indian market. His expertise in sales strategy, market expansion, and partnership development will significantly strengthen Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts’ position in India, a crucial source market for the group and the destination.
As the Director of Global Sales for India at Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts, Gaurav will focus on driving revenue growth across Corporate, Leisure, and MICE segments, while executing sales strategies to further solidify Cinnamon’s brand presence in India. He will also be responsible for nurturing key partnerships and driving market expansion through the Global Sales Office in India.
